1. Pre-Marital Coaching starts with an assessment of the relationship past and present.
2. The clients understand the information discussed in Pre-Marital Coaching is for coaching purposes only and is not intended for use in any legal proceedings involving partners.
3. The clients agree not to subpoena the coach to testify for or against either party or to provide records in a court action.
4. By entering Pre-Marital Coaching, the clients understand that working toward change may involve experiencing difficult and intense feelings, some of which may be painful, to reach our goals.
5. The clients accept that such changes can have both negative and positive effects and agree to clarify and evaluate potential effects of changes before we undertake them.
6. There will be times when the coach may appear on either person’s side but is really on the side of the marriage.
7. Emails and communication via Voxer between sessions should be used for making appointments, emergencies, or clarifying assignments only. Emails and communication via Voxer coaching cannot be provided.
8. If the relationship breaks up and either or both of the clients wish to re-contract with the coach for individual therapy, the decision on who the coach works with is at their discretion. In some situations, a referral may be made.
9. If the coach sees either member of the couple for individual sessions or has contact between sessions with either member of the couple, the contents of those contacts will be brought up in the next session with both partners present. No secrets will be kept.
10. Since session time is limited to 60 minutes, the clients will try to be concise in presenting their thoughts and feelings.
11. The clients are required by state to participate in a minimum of 6 hours in Pre-Marital Coaching.
12. After 5 minutes from the agreed upon start time, you will be charged $25.00 as a late fee.
13. After 15 minutes from the agreed upon start time, you will be charged an additional $50.00 as a cancellation fee on top of the $25.00 late fee.
14. If you cancel your session within 24 hours of the agreed upon session time you will be charged $50.00 as a cancellation fee.
15. After 3 no shows, you will be removed from the schedule for this service and a partial refund may be issued if necessary for any unused sessions.
16. All communication takes place over Voxer and via Email from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday- Friday with a 24 hour response time.
